Chiropractic Care
We specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.
Corrective / Therapeutic Exercises
We teach our patients special exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. This enhances the treatment process and helps maintain healing benefits, as well as reducing the likelihood of future problems.
X-rays
One of the most important elements of chiropractic care is diagnostics. Chiropractic radiology is a tool utilized in care as a diagnostic practice to rule out pathology (such as possible tumor or fracture) and/or an additional aid to determine where to adjust the spine. Chiropractors rely on a variety of diagnostic techniques in order to fully understand what is occurring in the patient’s musculoskeletal system, and how a given treatment intervention could bring about positive results in each patient.
Pediatric Chiropractic
Children encounter many physical stresses in their life that you may not realize. These stresses can cause your child’s spine to have issues in growth and development.
The first thing that we will do when you see us is take a thorough history of your child’s health. You are able to explain to us any complaints that you or your child may have. We will then do a complete physical examination of your child’s spine. We want to ensure that all areas are working and functioning correctly.
Pre/post Natal Chiropractic
Here at Wise Chiropractic, Inc., we offer a conservative approach to treating pregnant women. Our prenatal care is gentle and safe. We aim to alleviate the stress and strains of pregnancy while improving comfort for both the mother and baby. We understand the physical changes that come with pregnancy, and we offer relief without using any drugs.
Spinal Remolding
You have seen the older man or woman walking down the street hunched over in a stooped posture. You think that you will “never let yourselves get to that point.” Then, you start to see pictures of yourself from the side. Shocked you wonder, “why is my head so far forward from my shoulders?” Then, you notice that small hump forming at the base of your neck. The thought of deteriorating into that hunched over posture is unacceptable! And even though the cosmetics of hunched posture are bad, the health impact to your spine is even worse. Spinal misalignment caused by abnormal posture can cause:
– Decreased Spinal Hygiene and Poor Health
– Back, Neck and Joint Pain
– Headaches
– Osteoarthritis
– Fatigue
– Nerve Interference, just to name a few
Good posture habits are important. But the reality is that posture is unconscious. When you are not actively thinking of standing straight, your body resumes the position that years of bad habits have created. Staying healthy and looking good becomes an uphill battle.
In order to correct the spine and posture back to normal, you have to implement a spinal remodeling program. This technique is called Petibon Spinal Remodeling.
Dr. Jon Wise has extensive training and specializes in Petibon and C.B.P. (Chiropractic Biophysics). By using the latest in spinal biomechanics and neurology, Dr. Wise has helped hundreds of patients return to a healthy, more energetic, pain free posture and proper spinal alignment.
The spinal remodeling program works by gently retraining the body back into postural balance, while also remodeling the muscles and ligaments safely and naturally back to their normal position. This enables the body to stay in proper posture even when you are not thinking about it. Trading those bad posture habits for new healthy ones.
Good posture is about more than looking healthy, youthful, and confident it keeps you healthy as well.
